Bela is born in Alfama, present day Alfama. Out of the love and respect for Fado and of hearing inside of it the possibility of hearing the whole world. The emotional and poetical weight of the tradition is the perfect vehicle for the boldness of the arregements, the rhythmical deconstruction, the point of convergence.
