Carlos Mil-Homens is a very unique musician who combines a solid 
percussion background with a very intense powerful stage attitude. 
Personally chosen by Madonna in 2019 he embarked with her in a one 
year adventure which included the recording of the documentary “The 
World of MadameX”, the Billboard Awards 2019, Eurovision Song Contest 
2019 and the MadameX world tour.
Self-taught he studied percussion in Portugal, Spain, Peru and Cuba. In 
Portugal he worked with all the major artists, José Mário Branco, Fausto, Rão Kyao, etc.
As a performer he developed his own performance with the Didgeridoo 
which culminated in a a partnership with the acclaimed contemporary 
dancer/choreographer Benvindo Fonseca. The resulting play 
“Cromeleque” was premiered in the Portuguese National Pantheon in 2018. 

Currently he leads the fado/fusion band Bela Ensemble and created and premiered (sold out), the solo show Ceremony in Teatro Ibérico in Lisbon.
